WhatsApp, the world’s largest messaging service, stopped working Tuesday for some customers all over the world, in keeping with Downdetector, which tracks app outages. The challenge has since been resolved.
Downdetector confirmed reviews of technical points with the app owned by Facebook Inc. jumped after 4pm New York time and its map illustrated drawback sizzling spots round Europe, North America and South America. In some circumstances, the app didn’t load new messages.
“Earlier today, an internal update made to our WhatsApp servers caused some people to have trouble sending messages,” a WhatsApp spokesperson stated. “We quickly resolved this issue for everyone and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
