At least three rockets landed close to the presidential palace on Tuesday, the place Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani was set to handle folks on Eid-a-Adha.
A video shared by TOLOnews confirmed Ghani and plenty of others providing Eid prayers even because the high-pitched noise of rocket fire pierced the morning air. As loud explosions continued to ring close by, most from the prayer social gathering appeared unperturbed. Security guards may also be seen hurrying within the background in the direction of the location of blasts.

There aren’t any stories of accidents from the explosions as far as all rockets landed exterior the fortified palace premises, stated Mirwais Stanikzai, spokesman for the inside minister.
No one has claimed accountability for the assault and Taliban insurgents denied their involvement.
Afghanistan’s insurgents have for years fired rockets into the town every so often, normally inflicting solely minor injury and few if any casualties.
In March 2020, 4 rockets have been fired on the sting of the palace compound throughout Ghani’s inauguration as president. Islamic State insurgents claimed accountability for the assault.
