India seamer Umesh Yadav has cleared his fitness check and has been added to the squad for the final two Tests of the continued India-England Test sequence. Yadav, who appeared for a fitness check on Sunday, at Motera, final featured for India in December 2020.
Shardul Thakur has been launched from the squad to participate within the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Yadav had suffered was a calf muscle damage throughout the Melbourne Test in opposition to Australia in December, ruling him out for the remainder of that sequence.
There is a risk that India may play three pacers within the pink-ball Test in Ahmedabad.
