The Texas senator condemned the violence that erupted as supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol in a rare assault over the election final result.
Cruz led the primary problem to Joe Biden’s defeat of President Donald Trump by objecting to Arizona’s outcomes. He sought to have Congress launch a fee to examine the election. His effort was roundly defeated within the House and Senate.
Cruz mentioned he was assured the nation can have a “peaceful and orderly transition of power.” Biden is ready to be inaugurated January 20.
