Punjab to reopen schools for students of classes 5 to 12 from January 7

The Punjab authorities on Wednesday determined to reopen all schools from January 7 for students of classes 5 to 12.

State Education minister Vijay Inder Singla stated following the persistent demand of dad and mom, the state authorities has determined to reopen all authorities, semi-government and personal schools from January 7 onwards. In an announcement right here, Singla stated the timings of the schools shall be from 10 am to three pm.

The students solely of classes 5 to 12 shall be allowed to bodily attend their classes, stated the minister.

Singla stated whereas giving his nod, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh directed the division to guarantee the protection of the youngsters, amid COVID-19 pandemic. The minister stated following the CM’s instructions, all college managements have been requested to strictly adjust to all anti-Covid precautions in schools.
