Periyar University, Salem, has introduced to launch an online learning portal http://www.periyaedu.in. It will supply undergraduate and postgraduate diploma programmes in a number of domains with a dwell learning course of. The University introduced this as an initiative to increase its choices in step with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020).
Through the dwell learning portal periyaredu.in, the varsity will supply MBA, MSc in Mathematics, MA with specializations in English and History, and Masters in Commerce. It can even supply Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in English to aspirants seeking to get into enterprise administration and literature as a site, respectively.

With the launch of the online portal, Periyar University goals to enhance the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in Higher Education which presently stands at 27.4%.
