Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev on Wednesday acquired his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a famend metropolis hospital.
The 62-year-old World Cup-winning captain received vaccinated on the capital’s Fortis hospital.
Kapil Dev, thus, turned the second former India cricketer to obtain the vaccine after India head coach Ravi Shastri, who received vaccinated on Tuesday at Ahmedabad.
Both the cricket legends acquired the vaccine after India’s inoculation drive entered its second part on Monday wherein the protection was expanded to incorporate everybody above 60 and people over 45 with co-morbidities.
