Australia coach Justin Langer conceded he’s “worried” about Will Pucovski after the teen suffered his ninth concussion however added that he foresees a protracted profitable profession for the rookie opener.
Pucovski, who was primed to open within the opening Test in Adelaide beginning on Thursday, was dominated out after struggling a concussion within the first warm-up sport between Australia A and India A.
“Will has had multiple concussions now. We’re obviously keeping a close eye on him. He’s back home with his family at the moment,” Langer was quoted as saying by ”Fox Sports”.

Langer, who himself suffered a number of head knocks, mentioned bouncers had been a “part of the game”.
“It’s a part of the sport. Unfortunately, we get hit. I can solely go from private expertise, what I’ve felt and likewise seen.
“But If you can get through it then there’s no reason why you can’t have a long and very, very successful domestic and hopefully international career,” Langer added.
