IIT-Ropar, Dassault to jointly provide paid online internship programme for design and engineering students

Dassault Systèmes has joined fingers with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar’s Agriculture and Water Technology Development Hub (AWaDH) to provide an eight-week online internship programme for design and engineering students. This initiative will help the college’s online internship carnival. The students can apply for the online internship on the awadh.iitrpr.ac.in.

During the eight weeks of internship, the candidates will obtain coaching on design pondering, materials choice, superior CAD (Computer-Aided Design) practices, CFD (Computation Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis), superior subjects in systems-level modeling, life cycle evaluation, venture administration, patent search, manufacturing simulations and techno-economic evaluation. They will take part within the brainstorming periods, patent search, and literature evaluation. They will even be taught concerning the preparation of patent paperwork.

Starting from May 24, there shall be 100 interns divided into 20 groups who will take part on this competitors.

The successful groups from this programme shall be provided paid internships for six months at IIT Ropar which they will do as per their educational schedule and comfort. They will even be provided journey and keep at IIT Ropar to discover the probabilities of future collaboration with the mentor college members.

In addition to this, the highest 5 out of 10 successful groups can be supported with a seed grant for working a start-up.

Eligibility: Students within the second/ third/ fourth 12 months of engineering undergraduate or equal programme from any engineering institute/ school/ college with specialisation in streams together with aerospace, laptop science and engineering, chemical, mechanical, manufacturing, metallurgy, supplies, civil engineering, and extra, are eligible for participation. AWaDH shall be constituting interdisciplinary groups of interns and assign them to work on particular tasks.
