Gujarat: Govt announces recruitment to over 6,600 posts in schools, colleges


The state authorities on Wednesday introduced recruitment to a complete of 6,616 new posts in grant-in-aid colleges and better schooling institutes throughout the state.

Giving particulars on the announcement, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, in a press release, stated that 927 assistant professors shall be recruited in non-government grant-in-aid colleges by means of centralized recruitment course of throughout the state. These 927 assistant professors shall be recruited for 44 completely different topics.

“The recruitment has been announced with a view to build career through employment opportunities in the field of higher education as well as secondary education in the state as well as to provide maximum employment opportunities in education sector,” stated Chudasama.

Apart from this, state authorities will even recruit a complete of 5,700 assistant academics in non-government grant-in-aid secondary and better secondary colleges. Accordingly, 3,382 assistant academics in grant-in-aid increased secondary and 2307 in secondary colleges shall be recruited.

Detailing on the three,382 assistant trainer’s recruitment in increased secondary colleges, Chudasama stated that these embody 624 for English topic, 446 for Account and Commerce, 334 for Sociology, 276 for Economics, 254 for Gujarati and different topics.

Similarly, 2307 assistant academics shall be recruited in secondary colleges embody 1,037 for Mathematics and Science topics, 442 for English, 289 for Social Science, 234 for Gujarati and different topics.
