The Delhi authorities has directed colleges within the nationwide capital to grant a 30-day relaxation to college students within the age standards for nursery admissions.
“It is reiterated that age relaxation of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of the heads of the school in both the minimum and maximum age limit. Therefore, any parent seeking age relaxation in respect of their ward, may approach the school principal through a manual application for his or her consideration,” the Directorate of Education (DOE) stated in a letter to varsities.

The age criterion has been fastened by the DOE yearly since 2018 and relaxations have been granted in earlier classes too.
For admissions in nursery, KG and sophistication 1 there’s an higher restrict. The little one can’t be greater than 4 years of age for admission in nursery as on March 31, for KG it’s 5 years and for class 1 it’s six years.
The nursery admissions started on February 18 and the applying window will shut on March 4. The first checklist of chosen candidates might be launched on March 20.
