The first episode of The Viral Fever’s newest internet sequence Aspirants is out on YouTube and judging by the first episode, the Hindi internet sequence ticks all of the packing containers which have now develop into a staple of TVF. It’s emotionally mature, has that spark of comedy and, greater than something, it seems like a relatable story.

Starring Naveen Kasturia, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sunny Hinduja and Shivankit Parihar, Aspirants follows UPSC aspirants who usually spend years finding out for the exams as they chase coveted bureaucratic positions. The monologue by Thapliyal, in one of many earlier scenes, establishes why these exams are nearly sacred in our nation, forcing the characters to place a cease on their lives as they provide the examination. It is that this monologue that attracts you into the aspirants’ universe and retains you concerned for the following 40 minutes.

Much like Kota Factory, this sequence too follows the delicate desires of scholars who goal to vary their life. Here, that centre is Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar and the makers handle to seize the vibe of the locality nearly immediately.

The first episode strikes in two timelines. The first timeline has the three lead characters – Abhilash, SK and Guri, attempting to prep for the examination — and the opposite timeline, which takes place six years on, has them navigating their friendship as a result of a previous trauma.

Kasturia’s Abhilash is honest and it’s his earnestness that immediately will get you in his nook. His rooftop dialog with Hinduja’s Sandeep bhaiya within the first episode offers Aspirants an emotional heft. The characters seem susceptible as they face this monster of an examination. It’s too quickly to say however there may be an ominous vibe to Sandeep which hints at a darker storyline.

Overall, the 45-minute episode is spectacular sufficient for the viewers to come back again subsequent week.

Created by Arunabh Kumar and Shreyansh Pandey, Aspirants has been written by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish and directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. The subsequent episode drops on April 14.
