60 recruits attested to Madras Regiment


A complete of 60 recruits have been on Wednesday attested to the Madras Regiment, the oldest infantry regiment within the military, at Wellington within the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu.

The attestation parade was reviewed by Deputy Commandant of the regiment B N Nayak, who congratulated the recruits and appreciated the instructors and workers for attaining excessive requirements of coaching.

He lauded the efforts of the regiment additionally to prepare sensible and efficient troopers.

Nayak awarded medals for excellent recruits, a press launch mentioned.
